Responsibilities: Work with architects and lead engineers to implement service end-points Use experience in developing java REST services to add new APIs for the LNC project Build unit tests and participate in code reviews Work on defects and enhancements as part of product lifecycle Participate in team stand ups and design sessions Coordinate effectively with team members in engineering and product management QualificationsMS degree in CS, EE, Math or related field 7+ years developing applications using Java, Jetty, jaxb, Servlets, Spring framework, servers, web application servers, XML, and JDBC Experience working with relational databases like MySQL Development experience on Linux platforms Team-player with excellent communication skills to participate in meetings and present design ideas. Self-motivated, quick-learner and works efficiently. Ability to implement creative and simple solutions to complex problems Desirable: Knowledge of NoSQL database technologies like Redis. Working knowledge of messaging systems like rabbitmq Willingness and ability to learn from peers. Ability to mentor junior team members. Have a startup mindset and willing to take initiative.
