Travel Physical Therapist - $2,654 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Lanham, MD. The role is a 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts. Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the setting, following facility guidelines. Understand and comply with the respective PT board’s rules and regulations. Interface with medical‑center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused care. Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate and create plans of care accordingly. Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition. Use medical‑center computer systems in the performance of daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months experience (new graduates encouraged). 1 year experience preferred. BLS certification and state‑specific licensing. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods.
