Labor And Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in maternity care, specifically focusing on adult patients during pregnancy and preterm deliveries.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; 1st timers are accepted
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NRP

Patient Population

Adult patients, focusing on obstetric care encompassing various pregnancy stages and preterm situations.

Unit Information

OB unit with 13 L&D rooms
2 Operating Rooms (ORs)
Approximately 200 deliveries per month

Work Setting Requirements

Experience with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR unit systems is preferred
Scrub colors provided by the facility
Availability for every other weekend
Possible floating within the Women's Service Line

Scheduling And Orientation

Maximum Requested Time Off (RTO): 7 days
Compliance with requirements is necessary to start on time; delays may extend orientation by up to 2 weeks
Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) hours vary by assignment length

Holiday Scheduling

Travelers will be expected to work major holidays in accordance with the schedule:

Work one major holiday if it falls within the assignment period
Work two major holidays if two fall within the assignment period
Work two of three major holidays if three fall within the assignment period

Major holidays include:

Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving/Black Friday
Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
