Shipping ClerkExperienced Shipping Clerk for Manufacturing Company in Munster.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Shipping Clerk Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 22.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)Prepare and process shipping documents, bills of lading, invoices, and manifests.Coordinate outgoing shipments and incoming deliveries.Schedule freight pickups and communicate with transportation carriers.Track shipments and resolve delivery issues.Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping regulations.Verify orders, quantities, and shipping information for accuracy.Generate shipping reports and maintain filing systems.Communicate with customers regarding shipment status and delivery schedules.Assist with inventory control and warehouse coordination.Shipping Clerk Qualifications:Experience in shipping, logistics, warehousing and office administrationKnowledge of shipping and logistics proceduresHS Dip or GEDFamiliar with Inventory ManagementExperience with transportation documentationExcellent problem solving skills and attention to detailPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employmentWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
