Details Work in a 32 bed Emergency Department with 117 staff across shifts Patient ratio of 4:1 Uses Meditech EMR 13-week assignment with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Rotating nights and weekends, with 4 weekend shifts per schedule No on-call requirements Requirements Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required More than 2 years of experience preferred Experience with procedures such as LP, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Deliver emergency care across a fast-paced, high-acuity department Team players who can anticipate patient and department needs are highly valued Scrub color required is navy blue, with navy blue zip-up sweaters permitted; pullover sweatshirts are not acceptable Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted American Traveler Job ID P-738333.
