Elementary Music Teacher

Responsibilities Teaching multiple sections of Music courses for students in grades PreK-5th. Teach music courses that fosters student's passion for music and builds foundational skills. Collaborate with faculty members to foster an engaging music curriculum across grade levels. Incorporating musical instruments and movement in lessons. Direct and prepare students for school concerts and planned music experiences. Inspiring and motivating students to extend themselves to after school music clubs. Integrate music education with core subjects to reinforce classroom concepts through music. Ability to teach and supervise students in using the guitar or piano. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Music, Education or related required. Previous experience working with lower school students required. At least 2 years of K-12 teaching experience strongly preferred. Experience with choirs, guitar, and voice instruction preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
