Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching Certification (must be submitted with your resume for consideration)
• Experience or strong interest in working with students with special needs across multiple grade levels

• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working within educational teams
• Ability to follow district policies and provide consistent, high-quality instruction and support

Responsibilities:

• Step in as needed to cover absences for both direct hire and contract Special Education Teachers
• Deliver engaging and supportive instruction based on established lesson plans, IEP goals, and individual student needs
• Collaborate with school staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor student progress, ensuring a safe and structured classroom atmosphere
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administrators during coverage assignments
