Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a flexible substitute position supporting Special Education classrooms across a variety of ages—from Early Childhood through High School. This strictly on-call role requires a responsive professional ready to step in when coverage needs arise, whether due to planned teacher absences or last-minute call-outs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching Certification (must be attached with resume for consideration)
• Experience with diverse student populations and a range of special education needs preferred
• Adaptability to teach and manage classes from early childhood through high school
• Ability to work on an as-needed, per diem basis
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support and classroom management in the absence of a permanent or contracted Special Education Teacher
• Follow provided lesson plans and accommodate the unique learning needs of students
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with diverse abilities
• Maintain accurate attendance and documentation as required by the district
• Collaborate effectively with other staff and follow established protocols to ensure continuity for students
