Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching Certification (must be submitted with your resume for consideration)
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to various classroom environments and instructional needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to upholding individualized education programs (IEPs) and inclusive practices
• Previous experience in special education settings preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and provide classroom management in the absence of the regular Special Education Teacher
• Follow lesson plans and IEP accommodations to ensure continuity of student progress
• Foster a supportive and positive classroom atmosphere, encouraging student engagement
• Collaborate effectively with other educators, support staff, and district personnel as needed
• Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and reliability when responding to on-call assignments
