Position Overview


Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide managerial, operational, and project coordination.

The Project Manager will support the full project lifecycle, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and project closure . This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining project management plans and work plans, coordinating stakeholders, tracking projects and procurement activities, monitoring contracts and purchase orders, facilitating meetings, and providing regular status reporting.

The ideal candidate will be a PMP-certified Project Manager with a minimum of 7 years of project management experience , strong stakeholder management skills, and experience managing multiple projects, timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional Project Management experience .
• Demonstrated experience managing projects through the complete project lifecycle:

• Experience developing and managing:
  
  
  • Project Management Plans (PMP)
  • Project work plans
  • Project schedules
  • Task assignments
  • Status reports

• Strong experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience tracking project activities, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, and timelines.
• Experience facilitating meetings and preparing meeting minutes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience working with contracts, purchase orders, agreements, procurement processes, or related administrative workflows is preferred.
• Must be able to comply with all applicable data security and confidentiality requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting government, public sector, healthcare, public health, emergency preparedness, or community services organizations.
• Experience working with state government agencies.
• Experience coordinating procurement timelines and ensuring submissions meet required deadlines.
• Experience tracking contracts, purchase orders, and agreements through review and approval processes.
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Monday.com, or similar tools.

Must Have:

• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Local candidate residing in Leon County, Florida, or surrounding counties.

Strongly Preferred:

• Florida State government experience.
• Public sector experience.
• Healthcare or public health experience.
• Emergency preparedness experience.
• Procurement, contracts, and purchase order tracking experience.
