Server Assistant - Busser

Overview You will be responsible for setting up the dining area and trays for meal services, adhering to food safety guidelines, and following dietary restrictions based on residents' needs. Responsibilities Assist the cook/supervisor with food preparation and service using specific procedures, guidelines, and regulations. Deliver residents’ meal carts and set up and clean the assigned dining area(s) to serve residents. Accurately record temperatures on refrigerators; clean and stock as needed. Wash and store dishes; support sanitation and maintenance of the kitchen. Be knowledgeable of Federal, State, and Community rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Act in conformance with all facility and departmental policies and procedures including Human Resources, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Health and Safety regulations, Compliance requirements, Patient Rights, Confidentiality, and HIPAA. Adhere to accrediting agency standards. Attend department meetings as required. Demonstrate accountability for personal and professional growth and any required certifications/licenses, if applicable. Complete mandatory training and competencies annually. Schedule This is an hourly position; expected hours include days, evenings, some weekends, and some holidays.
