Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit. The RN is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients, communicates with physicians about changes, monitors cardiac status, results of diagnostics and symptomatology, and responds quickly to changes. Qualifications Current and valid State RN License. Current BLS certificate on hire and maintenance. Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire; preferred. Previous acute care hospital experience preferred. Ventilator management experience preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Pay Transparency Competitive compensation. Estimate: $51.00 per hour. Exact starting compensation is determined during hiring.
