Role Overview Manager, Business Planning, Consumables manages and drives the demand, financial, and inventory planning by analyzing POS data, creating sales forecasts, and aligning them with Go-To-Market GTM strategies. This role collaborates closely with demand planning and GTM teams to translate promotional and distribution plans into accurate demand forecasts. It also manages sales budgets, monitors forecast accuracy, and provides insights and recommendations to improve operational and financial alignment. Additionally, this position works with regional teams to ensure smooth communication on sales, supply chain, and product launch activities. Duties & Responsibilities Oversee POS and inputs to create POS forecasts to provide to demand planning Create product category forecasts with demand planning Review and provide recommendations for GTM promotional, deals, and distribution plans and help translate that to demand planning Oversee, analyze and monitor channel inventory Review and recommend solutions for obsolete and slow-moving inventory to coordinate with GTM teams Collaborate with GTM teams to create and set annual/quarterly/monthly sales budgets Create month end reports on sales/profit results Report on month end forecast accuracy Analyze BIC stock and partner with supply planning to ensure healthy inventory levels Propose solutions in partnership with supply planning team to address inventory needs Review launch and end of life quantities to facilitate proper production targets Communicate and collaborate with GTM teams regarding overstock items Set up new products with weights/dims etc. Creates and executes channel price lists with GTM and Pricing Teams Review and manage operational forecast versus financial forecast to make recommendations of monthly and annual forecasts with GTM teams Enters forecast into FP&A Manages markdown budget and collaborates with GTM teams in end of life Act as liaison to parent company related to sales, marketing, supply chain, and operational items as needed Coordinate with other Brother regions as needed on production and launch related items Experience & Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field Experience Minimum 7 years. Experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics Minimum 5 years. Experience in S&OP processes and collaboration with cross-functional teams; Experience managing and owning budget activities Software/Technical Skills Knowledge of Data Analysis and Forecasting Tools (Excel, SAP, Tableau, etc.) Other Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Inventory management skills Strong communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal) Excellent mathematical and analytical skills Interpersonal skills and ability to build and improve trusting relationships Ability to analyze large sets of data to forecast demand, track inventory levels and develop actionable insights from data Proficiency in documenting processes, maintaining accurate records and generating comprehensive reports Additional Details For This Role This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by your manager. Base Salary The targeted base salary range for this position is $ 110,000.00- $ 140,000.00per year. Base salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the successful candidate, as well as factors such as internal equity, cost of labor in the hiring location, and alignment with market data. Additional Compensation This position is eligible for a 15% bonus at 100% of target, with the opportunity to achieve above 100% dependent on company performance and in alignment with company bonus plans. Bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon individual performance as well as Brother achieving its corporate objectives, in accordance with the applicable bonus plan in effect. About Where We Work Brother’s corporate headquarters for the Americas is in Bridgewater, NJ, across from the Bridgewater Commons Mall. This location houses key corporate functions, including HR, legal, finance, IT, and supply chain, and a significant presence of our business unit leadership and marketing teams. Our manufacturing and distribution facility in Bartlett, TN spans an impressive 1.5 million square feet - equivalent to 26 football fields - and is located on Brother Boulevard. In addition to the distribution center operations team, this facility hosts several other departments, including our customer service group. Brother also has employees based in other locations, such as Westminster, CO, where many of our marketing and product engineering team members from the mobile solutions division operate, as well as our distribution centers in Richmond, VA and Perris, CA.
