Production Scheduler

Responsibilities Establishing the sequence and lead-time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders Monitoring stocking levels to ensure all materials ship or are consumed before expiration of shelf life Analyzing production specifications and plant capacity data and performing calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements Planning and scheduling workflow for each department and operation according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times Expediting operations that delay schedules and adjusting schedules to meet unforeseen conditions Preparing production reports Preparing lists of required materials Preparing purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment Performing weekly and monthly inventory of all supplies and preparing purchase requisitions Qualifications Four-year college degree 2–5 years of work-related experience Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills Attention to detail Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA Understanding of Material Resource Planning Excellent written and verbal communication skills In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have: Understanding of warehouse management Some production experience Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously Experience within the ink industry Benefits Competitive salary with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and pet insurance HSA and FSA, 401(k), and more Paid Volunteer Time Off Paid Parental Leave Our programs are designed to support employees and their families by providing a benefit package that is easy to understand and access.
