Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Quarterly Bonus Referral Program Paid Time Off Responsibilities Assist the General Manager in developing the restaurant team succession and bench strength utilizing the Company’s internal development processes, performance management, and other internal systems to ensure operational standards, team performance and corresponding financial goals and needs of the organization are met. Work directly with the General Manager in building professional business relationships and partnerships within the community and leverage those relationships into mutually beneficial business opportunities. Participate in community affairs that build brand awareness and reflect favorably on the Company. Assist the General Manager with all aspects of the business, maximizing restaurant profitability by maintaining, utilizing and enforcing effective management practices, policies, controls, tools and systems that enhance efficiency and productivity, minimize waste and loss, and promote a safe, secure work environment. Assist the General Manager while planning and implementing multiple strategies and tasks simultaneously, such as scheduling, ordering and analyzing week‑ending results. Be self‑driven with the ability to work independently and alongside the General Manager to implement ideas to combat risks and enhance opportunities. Must provide a safe and secure work environment by maintaining all safety and security policies in place for the protection of all team members, guests, and Fazoli’s physical assets. Qualifications Show the ability to recruit and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to an array of diverse internal and external clients. Demonstrate strong listening skills, process information quickly and accurately, and transfer knowledge in a variety of settings, including one‑on‑one, small groups and meetings. Possess a basic knowledge and understanding of general business and financial principles, including profit‑and‑loss statements, controllable profit, drop‑through, revenue generation and budgeting. Possess basic computer skills. Possess an entrepreneurial spirit, competitive nature and contagious enthusiasm that drives team performance to achieve desired results. Hold a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. Have a minimum of 1 year previous Assistant General Manager experience (fast casual/quick service experience preferred but not required). Must successfully complete all required Fazoli’s training and certification, including ServSafe. Must be available to work all hours of restaurant operations. Must have the flexibility to transfer and/or assist other Fazoli’s restaurants as business needs arise.
