Remote (Candidates must be located in the West or Mountain Time Zone)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Shift Lead to oversee regional shift operations in a 24×7 monitoring and incident response environment. The ideal candidate will lead regional analysts, manage incident triage and escalation, coordinate customer communications, and ensure smooth operational handoffs between shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Own regional shift operations and serve as the incident lead throughout the assigned coverage window.
Lead regional analysts in alert monitoring, triage, and incident declaration in accordance with the client's severity model.
Manage customer communications from incident declaration through resolution, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
Coordinate and manage vendor bridge calls under the direction of the MOC Manager.
Conduct live verbal handoffs for all open Severity 1 (Sev1) and Severity 2 (Sev2) incidents.
Maintain accurate shift logs, incident records, and operational handoff documentation.
Ensure continuity of incident management and effective communication across shifts.

Required Qualifications

3-6 years of experience in IT operations, 24×7 monitoring, incident management, or incident response.
Previous experience leading a shift or supervising a small team of analysts.
Strong understanding of alert triage, incident escalation, and severity-based incident management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience coordinating incident bridges, stakeholder updates, and shift handoffs.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of incidents during assigned shifts.
Must reside in the West or Mountain Time Zone to be considered for this fully remote position.

Employment Details

Contract-to-hire opportunity with an initial 6-9 month contract.
Fully remote within the specified time zones.
