Job Overview Amira Choice of Roseville on Lexington Avenue is a beautiful, well‑designed senior living community that offers the highest level of distinction for our residents. We offer 80 senior units with a mix of Independent/Assisted Living as well as Memory Care and Care Suites. Our community in Roseville, MN is adjacent to both Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN and is near public transportation, making it a convenient location for our employees. Performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with ClassF home care regulations and follows established policies and procedures. This Nursing Schedule Includes One weekend per month Ability to pick up shifts Responsibilities Provides professional nursing care. Consults with Registered Nurse (RN) regarding resident condition and treatments. Promptly transcribes and implements practitioners’ orders. Orders medication and supplies in a timely manner. Assists RN in adherence to medication administration procedures. Assembles and operates medical equipment used for resident care. Reports changes in resident status to the RN. Initiates emergency treatment as needed; reports status to RN. Performs skilled nursing care per individualized care plan under the direction of RN. Carries out proper charting practices and procedures. Assists in completing supervisory/monitoring visits. Performs any other duties as assigned or delegated by RN. Maintains current observation and documentation of tenant/resident health status. Supports RN to complete initial and on‑going assessments per Minnesota home care regulations and Nurse Practice Act. Assists RN to assure that tenants/residents have up‑to‑date service agreements and care plans. Maintains clinical charts and progress notes using a computerized documentation system. Communicates changes in resident conditions to RN, practitioners, and other relevant individuals. Required Qualifications Less than 1 year of experience. MN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross). Preferred Qualifications Associate of Science, LPN. 1 year of experience.
