Technology Consultant II
Location: New Hudson, MI
Type of Hire: CWR
Responsibilities:
- Come up with application integration solutions that are scalable, maintainable, reusable and extensible
- Document and review them with the team
- Develop solutions for complex design scenarios and
- Performance test the solutions to tune them for volumes
- Mentor developers in Code development, code maintenance, code promotions
- Review unit test cases and unit test plans, conducting and/or participating in code reviews
- Works on major projects that may span a broad range of applications
- Work with Business SME, Technical Analysts, and Architects to come up with solutions and work actively with team members to deliver projects on time and under budget
- Expertise in multiple technical environments and possesses business knowledge that spans one or more business areas
Qualifications:
Education/Certifications:
· Bachelor degree required – Computer Science or Equivalent
Requirements:
(Top 4) Required Skills/Experience:
- Expert in developing solutions using IBM transformation Extender (ITX) and IBM Integration Bus (IIB)
- Experienced in MQ Series, DB2, Java, ESQL
Required Skills/Experience – 7 Plus years:
- Able to develop complex transformations and troubleshoot sticky issues and devising solutions
- Put together coding and other development standards
- Review code and provide feedback to the development team
- Mentor team and help with day-to-day technical questions on WTX/ITX
- Experience in XML-based messaging; MQ or web services connectivity
Preferred Skills/Experience – 7 Plus years:
- Application integration solutions
- Batch and real-time solutions
- Relational databases including SQL and stored procedures
- Object-oriented design and development
- Experience with Provider or Payer Health care systems
- Recommend process improvements
- Prepare to build and deploy scripts to deploy code on Linux
- Experienced in HIPAA transactions
