Job Description

The Progressive Care Unit is a dynamic environment designed for patient care requiring closer observation and intervention. Our nursing team plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, particularly in neuro and trauma situations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neuro and spinal checks
• Perform C-Collar placement and TLSO brace fittings
• Manage chest tube placement and PCA pump administration
• Administer IV infusions and manage lumbar drains
• Facilitate feeding tube placements and blood transfusions

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification
• Sufficient experience in Neuro and Trauma Care required
• Preferred candidates will possess additional experience in Neuro and Trauma care settings
