The Goddard School® located at 50 Seaboldt Way, Chester Springs, PA 19425 is looking for a dependable, flexible, and caring Resource Teacher to join our team!

Our Resource Teachers are an important part of our school community. You'll have the opportunity to work in different classrooms, build relationships with children across the school, support teachers throughout the day, and step in wherever you're needed most. No two days are exactly alike—and that's what makes this role so rewarding.

What You'll Do:

As a Resource Teacher, you will:

- Support Lead and Assistant Teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Work with infants, toddlers, twos, preschool, and pre-K children depending on the needs of the school
- Build positive relationships with children across different age groups
- Step into classrooms to provide additional support during busy times, breaks, transitions, and staff absences
- Engage children through play, conversation, books, music, movement, sensory experiences, and age-appropriate activities
- Assist with daily routines including meals, diapering, toileting, nap, and transitions
- Help maintain clean, organized, and inviting classrooms
- Support teachers with classroom preparation, cleaning, and organization
- Follow classroom routines, curriculum, health and safety procedures, and state licensing requirements
- Communicate positively and professionally with children, families, and team members
- Be a dependable team member who is ready to jump in and help wherever needed

A high school diploma is required. An associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred. Previous experience working with children is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person who has a genuine passion for early childhood education.

You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children and meet all required state background check, education, experience, and credential requirements.
