Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

$2031.84/week - Job Summary: Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients in a high-acuity environment. Ensure patient safety and comfort through proficient clinical skills and effective communication. Responsibilities: Manage laboring patients with a focus on high acuity cases, utilizing advanced clinical expertise. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess fetal wellbeing in accordance with protocols. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Document patient history, care provided, and clinical observations accurately in Epic EMR system. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including float to various units as needed. Adhere to all safety standards, including emergency response protocols and labor support procedures. Qualifications: Require at least 1 year of recent labor and delivery nursing experience. Hold an active, valid nursing license in the state. Demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR and pass a compliance EKG exam. Be BLS, ACLS, and NRP certified; AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred. Have experience caring for high-acuity, laboring patients. Comply with travel and background screening requirements as specified.
