Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for high-acuity Labor and Delivery units on night shifts. Candidates will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for floating across multiple campuses as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care to laboring and postpartum patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, responding to any abnormalities.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in the EMR system.
• Administer medications, including opioids and epidurals, as prescribed by physicians.
• Demonstrate proficiency in labor and delivery procedures and high-acuity patient management.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of recent labor and delivery experience.
• Possess EPIC EMR experience and pass a compliance EKG exam.
• Be certified in BLS, ACLS, and NRP; AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to work rotating shifts, including every other weekend and holidays.
• Ability to float to various campuses and adapt to high-pressure clinical situations.
• Successfully complete all background checks and third-party education verification.
