Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide comprehensive labor, delivery, and postpartum nursing care to patients with high acuity needs.
  
  
• 
  Monitor fetal and maternal status continuously, utilizing advanced assessment skills.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, interventions, and outcomes in EPIC EMR.
  
  
• 
  Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards.
  
  
• 
  Float to other hospital units as needed, maintaining flexibility and professionalism.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid active nursing license in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year of recent labor and delivery nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Proficiency in EPIC EMR platform and EKG interpretation.
  
  
• 
  BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts.
  
  
• 
  Flexible availability for alternating weekends, holidays, and floating requirements.
