Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance Department. In this fully remote position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Accounting and Financial team with accurate completion of company financials. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in GL reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, Excel, and NetSuite, along with excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities Support the Assistant Controller with day-to-day, month-end, and year-end close activities, with a strong focus on financial reporting accuracy and audit readiness Prepare and perform detailed monthly balance sheet reconciliations , including bank accounts, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other key accounts Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring all reconciling items are properly documented and cleared in a timely manner Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting packages , ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines Maintain and improve reconciliation processes, documentation, and supporting schedules to strengthen internal controls Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for key accounts, including roll-forwards and variance analyses Process semi-monthly payroll in BambooHR and ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of payroll-related accounts Assist with audit support by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and requested documentation Maintain organized and audit-ready accounting records and documentation Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial data and reporting requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Hands-on experience with NetSuite (required) 2–3+ years of accounting experience with a strong emphasis on general ledger reconciliations and financial reporting Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and timeliness Solid understanding of month-end close processes and reconciliation best practices Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment U.S. residency with authorization to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Solution 7 or similar financial reporting tools Experience preparing or supporting financial statements and audit deliverables Payroll processing experience, including reconciliations and commission calculations Experience working in a multi-entity environment with intercompany reconciliations Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners Benefits & Perks Competitive salary ($70,000-$80,000 based on experience) Fully remote work environment Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance Flexible work schedules Generous paid vacation including your birthday & extra time off around major holidays 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Career advancement opportunities Company-sponsored professional development Our Commitment to Diversity Ignite Visibility is an equal opportunity employer.
