Make a lasting impact by supporting students and their families throughout the 2026-2027 school year in a rewarding contract position as a school social worker. This opportunity involves working full time (Monday through Friday, 35-37.5 hours weekly) and serving as a vital resource in the educational environment, focusing on younger learners in kindergarten through grade 4, as well as students across K-12, depending on the assignment. Immediate openings are available for three passionate and dedicated professionals starting as soon as possible through June 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Active state licensure as a school social worker (school-specific license required—general social work licensure is not sufficient)
• Previous experience supporting students in a school setting, collaborating with educators and families
• Comfortable working with K-4 or K-12 caseloads; prior elementary/ASD experience highly valued
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage confidential information and maintain professional boundaries

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide social-emotional support and resources to students, particularly within K-4 elementary or K-12 programs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams, teachers, and families to create individualized strategies for student success
• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and facilitate social skills groups as needed
• Serve as a liaison connecting families to community resources and services
• Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and documentation required by the district
