Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Float Pool – Georgia

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Float Pool assignment to all Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) floors with cardiac populations; Patient ratio 1:3-4; Minimal time-off restrictions

Highlights:

• Float to all PCU/IMCU floors specializing in cardiac patient populations
• Diverse case mix including STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery, and chest pain patients
• Experience with cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors) and advanced cardiac care
• May also care for telemetry patients with lower acuity levels within the same units
• EPIC EMR system for streamlined documentation and workflow
• Opportunity to expand clinical skills across multiple units and patient populations

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive care or cardiac nursing experience in a similar-sized facility
• Badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
