Software Engineer - C# or Java - Hedgefund - NYC

Job Description

You own the code, the project, and the outcome, at one of the most technology-driven firms on the planet.

\n

\n

This is a fund managing over $60 billion with under 1000 people. Over a quarter of the business is made up of engineers and technologists. That ratio tells you everything about how seriously they take the craft here

\n

\n

You are not sitting in a corner shipping tickets. You are working across every team in the business, building things that matter, and seeing the direct impact of what you create. Every project is yours end to end. You scope it, you build it, you own it. There are no layers of bureaucracy slowing you down.

\n

\n

The technology is genuinely world-class and so are the people around you. You will be working alongside some of the best engineers in the industry, in an environment where the bar is high and that is exactly what makes it exciting.

\n

\n

The comp reflects all of that. $150,000 to $250,000 on the base, and it is structured to reward people who perform. You'll be looking at $300,000 to $500,000 all in.

\n

\n

You are working in C# or Java right now and you are already using AI as part of how you work day to day, not as a talking point but as a real part of your process. You know what it means to take a project from nothing to production and you have done it before. This would be a great next step if you are ready to move from a strong second role into somewhere that gives you real autonomy and visibility.

\n

\n

This is fully in office. The culture is built around being in the room with the people you work with.
