As an Accounting Manager on the Card Controllers project team, you will be surrounded by intellectually curious professionals every day, all with the end goal of creating a seamless, well‑managed experience for our accounting stakeholders. This role is hybrid meaning associates typically spend 3 days per week in‑person at one of our offices. Responsibilities Lead moderate to large complex initiatives by providing direction to partners, peers, and direct reports. Lead a highly dynamic and cross‑functional team. Understand customer expectations, current gaps, and technical constraints; drive requirements and ultimately partner with the line of business and finance teams. Ensure effective performance and on‑time delivery of all tasks. Develop and train associates. Coach and mentor associates throughout the Controller’s organization. Interact and communicate with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes. Multitask and prioritize diverse tasks. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or military experience. At least 5 years of experience in accounting or audit or finance, or a combination. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of banking or finance industry experience. 7+ years of experience in accounting or audit or finance, or a combination. Data analysis experience (Tableau, Python, SQL or a combination). Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and reconciliation system experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Project Management Professional (PMP), or Lean or Agile Certifications (Product Owner, or Agile Project Mgmt, or SAFe Scaled Agilist). Salary & Benefits The minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. McLean, VA: $151,900 – $173,400 for Manager, Accounting. Richmond, VA: $138,100 – $157,700 for Manager, Accounting. This role is also eligible to earn performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(s) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI).
