Staff Accountant

Staff AccountantSeeking a Staff Accountant for management of the day-to-day accounting operations and provide financial details and reports to fully support the management team.Compensation: Base salary of 60-65k, plus benefits, bonus, 401k, PTOLocation: Pensacola, FL (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm)Responsibilities:Performs general accounting duties for the organization.Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.Maintains the general ledger.Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, customer accounts, and other financial accounts; manages accounts receivable collections.Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.Performs other related duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field, preferred.At least three years of related accounting experience required.Sage accounting software experience preferred, Quickbooks or NetSuite okay.Experience with AP/ AR / and managing the General LedgerAble to close the books, produce financial statements and reconcile all accounting.Strong experience with Excel***
