Senior Accountant

Join a manufacturing company as a Senior Accountant and work closely with the CFO to support daily accounting operations, strengthen financial reporting, and improve accounting processes. This opportunity offers a broad range of responsibilities and the chance to help shape a more robust accrual-based accounting environment. What You’ll Do Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices, payment runs, customer billing, and cash receipts. Perform three-way invoice matching and resolve vendor and customer account discrepancies. Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and ensure accurate transaction coding. Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations. Support month-end and year-end close, including accruals and prepaid expense amortization. Maintain accounting schedules and supporting documentation. Partner with the CFO to improve workflows, document procedures, and strengthen accounting controls. Assist with audit preparation and future cost accounting initiatives. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting. Experience with account reconciliations and month-end close. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Five or more years of accounting experience preferred.
