Must-have qualifications: \n•\t5+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience \n•\tStrong hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems and mechanical equipment \n•\tExperience supporting production equipment such as: \no\tHydraulic presses\no\tConveyors\no\tAutomated manufacturing equipment\no\tPneumatic systems\n•\tAbility to read hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings\n•\tExperience performing root cause analysis on recurring equipment failures \n•\tStrong understanding of bearings, gearboxes, motors, pumps, cylinders, valves, and power transmission systems \n•\tExperience working independently during off-shift operations\n\nKey Responsibilities: \n•\tPerform preventive and reactive maintenance on production equipment to maximize uptime. \n•\tTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, with a strong focus on hydraulic presses and aging equipment. \n•\tQuickly diagnose production line issues and restore equipment to operation. \n•\tInspect equipment, identify potential failures, and recommend corrective actions. \n•\tComplete maintenance documentation and track repairs in the CMMS system. \n•\tSupport equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. \n•\tFollow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout. \n•\tMaintain spare parts inventory and coordinate repairs with vendors when needed. \n•\tCommunicate equipment status, risks, and repair timelines with production and leadership teams.


Job Description


Current Team Need: \nThe current maintenance team is strong from an electrical troubleshooting perspective. The biggest need for this role is a technician with strong mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting experience, particularly supporting older production equipment and hydraulic press systems.\n\nThis individual will serve as a key resource for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining approximately 40 production presses and other aging manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate is a true hydraulics subject matter expert who can walk onto the production floor, assess a down piece of equipment, connect diagnostic tools, interpret schematics, quickly identify the root cause of the issue, and execute repairs independently to restore operations with minimal disruption. This person is the go-to resource for complex hydraulic troubleshooting and does not rely on engineering support to diagnose equipment failures.
