HIM Coordinator

Overseeing daily workflows and staff activities, the full-time HIM Coordinator will manage productivity, coordinate issue resolution, and ensure compliance with regulations while working remotely. Key responsibilities Coordinates patient record processing activities and establishes work priorities within the HIM Department Trains HIM staff, monitors quality and productivity, and provides feedback to ensure proper coverage Assists HIM leadership with performance-related issues and actively participates in department safety initiatives Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred 1 year of lead, coordinating, or supervisory experience required 2 years of experience in release of information, records analysis, or medical records processing required Basic understanding of computers and data entry; experience in high-quality customer service required Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification preferred
