Director R&D Project Management

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Director of R&D Project Management for its Orthopaedics division to oversee strategic execution of hip and knee product development. This hybrid role, based in Raynham, MA or Warsaw, IN, will manage R&D budgeting, operational dashboards, cross-functional alignment, and process improvements to advance innovation in joint reconstruction.
Responsibilities
- Drive R&D budget planning, coordination, and consolidation for hip and knee product lines
- Partner with finance and leadership to develop financial plans and business cases across R&D
- Establish and manage operational dashboards, performance metrics, and reporting cadence
- Lead process improvements, governance structures, and operational efficiency initiatives
- Consolidate input from project teams for executive management reviews and strategic planning
Requirements
- Experience leading R&D project management or program management office functions
- Demonstrated expertise in budget planning, financial analysis, and portfolio management
- Proven track record managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder alignment
- Strong operational leadership with ability to develop processes and metrics
- Experience with product development lifecycle and capital planning initiatives
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
