RN - PICU

Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) position. Our ideal candidates will be committed to providing exceptional care to critically ill children in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the ICU setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients' families on care plans and health management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a pediatric critical care setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is mandatory; no exceptions.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 2 holidays per year.

Scheduling

This position requires rotating shifts, with a schedule of either three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) or three 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM). Candidates will switch between these two schedules every few weeks, with no shift rotations within the same week. Local candidates are encouraged to apply.
