Contract Analyst

A financial client of our is seeking a Contract Operations Specialist/Analyst to join their team for a six month contract role with the potential to extend or convert. This client is currently onsite hybrid 3 days a week in Denver, CO. Pay range for this role is $35-45/hr W2; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

This temporary contractor role will support contract lifecycle management ("CLM"), repository maintenance, and data quality activities in Agiloft, our contract management system. The contractor will help ensure contract records are complete, accurate, searchable, and audit-ready by reviewing contract documentation, validating key metadata, identifying missing information, and coordinating follow-up with relevant stakeholders. The role is intended to provide operational support for contract administration, CLM data integrity, and continuous improvement of contract management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review contract records and supporting documentation to identify missing documents, signatures, metadata, or other data gaps.
• Create, update, and maintain CLM records, including uploading executed agreements and related documents, entering required metadata, and ensuring appropriate repository storage.
• Validate and update key contract information, including vendor names, contract and business owners, effective and expiration dates, renewal terms, notice periods, spend values, contract status, document types, and contract categories.
• Maintain accurate parent-child contract relationships by linking master agreements, amendments, order forms, statements of work, and other related contract documents.
• Identify and escalate stalled workflows, missing signatures, incomplete records, and recurring data integrity issues.
• Coordinate timely follow-up with stakeholders to obtain missing information and support completion of contract records.
• Maintain trackers, prepare and analyze reports, and present status information.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in contract administration, contract management, asset management intermediary and institutional agreement, procurement operations, legal commercial contracting operations, or vendor management.
• Basic understanding of contract lifecycle management. Familiarity with CLM, procurement, e-signature, workflow, reporting, or analytics platforms such as Agiloft, DocuSign, Coupa, SAP Ariba, Jaggaer, Ivalua, Power BI, Tableau, SharePoint, or similar tools is helpful.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort reviewing contractual documents and operational records for completeness, consistency, accuracy, metadata, attachments, and repository completeness.
• Ability to enter, maintain, validate, and reconcile CLM data accurately and consistently, including identifying data gaps, correcting records, and escalating recurring data quality issues.
• Strong organizational, analytical, written communication, verbal communication, and follow-up skills.
• Sound judgment, professionalism, and willingness to escalate issues when appropriate.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Integrity and discretion when handling confidential supplier, legal, financial, contract, operational, and business information.
