The Vascular and Neuro Interventional radiologists of the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Barnes‑Jewish Hospital pioneered, and are responsible for, many radiologic milestones. The Radiology Department at the Washington University Medical Center is regarded as one of the top five in the United States. It performs over 453,000 diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures annually. Position Details Full-Time (36 hours per week) 10 Hour Day Shifts - 4 Days per Week: 7:30 am-6 pm (Mon-Fri) Extra Pay & Incentives: premium pay for weekends and call shifts Call Rotation Required for week overnights & weekends: week overnight call rotation (one shift within one or two weeks): Monday–Thursday 6 pm‑7:30 am; weekend call rotation occurring every 10th or 11th weekend: Friday 6 pm to Saturday 8 am, Saturday 4 pm to Monday 7:30 am – Saturdays 08:00‑16:00 3‑4 times per year PDP program Radiology Leadership Development Program Work/life balance Siemens Fluoro units, GE Ultrasound, Epic Responsibilities Work independently with a multidisciplinary team performing fluoroscopic imaging procedures Prepare patients and equipment for procedures while assisting the radiologist Perform image post‑processing and circulating procedures Requirements & Qualifications Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography – R.T.(R) Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education) No prior IR Tech experience necessary; willing to train X‑ray techs wanting to cross‑train in Interventional Radiology Preferred experience: Upcoming Graduation Radiology students, MR, CT, RT, X‑ray, Radiology, Medical Imaging, ARRT, BD, CI, N, VI, ASRT, Radiologic, Rad Tech, Student Radiology, Student in clinicals, General Radiology (X‑ray Tech), Entry Level, Radiologic Technologist, Radiographer, Rad Tech, Radiology Tech, Medical Imaging, RT, ARRT, MRI Graduate, magnetic resonance imaging, ARMRIT, MR, Special Procedures Technologist, Interventional Procedures Technologist, IR Tech, Vascular Interventional Radiographer (VI), Advanced Modality Technologist (AMT) / Radiologic / Radiology Technologist - Interventional Radiology Why Join Us?
