Seeking a procurement professional with 3+ years of experience managing Rubber & Plastics commodities. The ideal candidate has strong supplier management and negotiation skills, experience driving cost savings, and the ability to partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams. Experience with supplier development, market analysis, and strategic sourcing in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement activities for Rubber & Plastics commodities.
• Develop supplier strategies and manage supplier relationships.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support annual cost-reduction initiatives.
• Evaluate and onboard new suppliers while ensuring supply continuity.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements in quality, delivery, and cost.
• Analyze market trends, material costs, and industry conditions to support sourcing decisions.
• Manage supply chain risks, including tariff impacts and alternative sourcing strategies.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain teams on key initiatives.
• Support new product launches through effective supplier selection and sourcing execution.
• Maintain sourcing documentation, reporting, and category analysis.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain.
• Experience sourcing Rubber & Plastics commodities preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Analytical skills including cost analysis, financial evaluation, and market research.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and project management abilities. xhyhwjd
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, ISM, APICS, or similar are a plus.
