We are looking for an experienced Press Operator (Press Brake Operator):

• Payrate: $24 /hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual press brake machines to bend sheet metal and plate per engineering drawings and work orders.
• Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy of formed parts.
• Select appropriate tooling and determine bend sequences to minimize material waste and rework.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet tolerance and quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance checks on press brake machinery and tooling.
• Work closely with welders, machinists, and assembly technicians to ensure parts integrate seamlessly into finished equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience operating manual press brake equipment in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
• Strong understanding of metal types (stainless steel) and their forming characteristics.
• Experience working with stainless steel for sanitary food-grade applications is highly desirable but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication blueprints and shop drawings.
• Solid knowledge of bend allowances, tolerances, and forming practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for precision work.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
