Kitchen Cook & Cashier

Our busy restaurant is seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Cook & Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our kitchen staff with food preparation and ensuring that our order counter runs smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and pasta
• Operate the restaurant register, including processing payments and providing excellent customer service
• Responsible for taking customer orders accurately and entering them into the POS system
• Maintain a clean and organized area
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure a smooth operation

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for operating the register
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
