Transportation Lead

Job Title

Oversees the daily activities, workload, and employees who transport and deliver Fox products

Position Responsibilities

• Oversee lot organization and coordinates lot staff to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently
• Ensures vehicles are locked and secure at the end of the day
• Key coordinator with inbound and production
• Allocates driver assignments
• Works with Transportation Supervisor to assure compliance with safety standards and that organization objectives dictated by management are followed
• Keeps track of transport vehicles, making sure that all vehicles are maintained and in top working condition
• Assists Supervisor in hiring and termination recommendations and processes
• Serves as a point of contact for customers, building relationships and addressing complaints
• Trains staff in department policies and procedures

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

• Meticulous attention to detail and capable of multi-tasking
• Ability to work outdoors and be on foot for extended periods of time
• Team oriented person with strong interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR

Position Qualifications

Education: HS diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

• 2+ years of prior relevant work experience required

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing Environment
• Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
• Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
