Other duties may be assigned.Assumes responsibility for insuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the Department by:Formulating departmental goals, strategies, and operating policies and procedures and directing implementation of approved changes.Making recommendations on employees regarding employment, performance appraisal, salary changes, promotions, transfers, or terminations.Provides daily supervision for all employees located onsite at the project location.Ensuring productivity levels are maintained through effective monitoring of staffing levels and financial requirements.Guiding personnel to achieve optimum performance levels.Assists with the budget and the development of processes to effective assist in cost controls and personal development of these analysts.Coordinates preparation of annual operating and capital plan, including outlining guidelines, timetables, reviews, consolidation, presentation, final completion, and reportingCoordinates preparation of monthly outlook and quarterly formal reforecast processes, including review, consolidation, presentation, final completion, and reportingAnalyzes and prepares monthly performance/profitability analysis summary for support services departmentsLiaises with field personnel during the monthly close process regarding variance review, accrual review, and journal entry preparationReviews headcount requests and makes recommendations to senior managementAnalyzes and makes recommendations to senior management on all capital requestsTracks, monitors and reports actual capital activityTracks, monitors and reports large maintenance project activityParticipates in project and acquisition transitionsPrepares audit work papers as required including account flux activityProvides input into contracts and periodically review contractsUnderstands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functionsQualificationsStrong analytical and financial skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsEffective time management and organizational skillsStrong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsLocal governmental accounting experience preferredEducation and/or ExperienceBA/BS in Accounting or Business, MBA preferred and 7-10 years of experience in accounting, planning and forecasting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsCertified Public Accounting License desirablePhysical DemandReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functionsTo support a safe and secure workplace, all offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of background screening, drug testing, and driving record review where applicable.Inframark is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
