Job Requirements

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology required
• Minimum of 2 years of Trauma Level I experience outside of residency
• Active Colorado medical license or active IMLC LOQ preferred
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS/APLS required
• Must be comfortable performing central lines
• Must be comfortable caring for pediatric patients
• Must be able to perform open vascular procedures
• Prior locum tenens experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC is helpful

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across a diverse surgical case mix in a busy hospital environment
• Deliver general anesthesia for adult, trauma, and complex surgical cases
• Manage acute pain, spinal, epidural, regional anesthesia, and minor nerve blocks
• Perform central line and arterial line placement
• Support obstetrical, neurosurgical, complex vascular, and complex orthopedic cases
• Use ultrasound guidance for block placement when indicated
• Assist with ventilation management and hemodynamic/volume status evaluation
• Provide medical direction to CRNAs/AAs as part of the anesthesia care team
• Contribute to safe, efficient care in a high-volume surgical setting
