Warehouse Operative

Position Summary Aver Sign Company is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse & Yard Helper to support our day-to-day warehouse, receiving, and yard operations. This is a hands-on position focused primarily on warehouse organization, material handling, receiving shipments, and maintaining the outdoor yard and storage areas. The role will also include minor janitorial responsibilities related specifically to keeping the warehouse and work areas clean and organized. This position does not include cleaning or maintaining office spaces. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, comfortable working in a physical environment, and able to safely operate a Hilo/forklift. Warehouse & Receiving Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments and assist with unloading materials Organize, stock, and maintain warehouse inventory and storage areas Assist with loading and unloading trucks and company vehicles Move materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the warehouse and yard Help prepare and stage materials for production and installation teams Maintain organized and clearly accessible storage areas Assist with general inventory and material organization Safely operate a Hilo/forklift when moving or storing materials Support other warehouse and facility projects as needed Yard Responsibilities Maintain organized outdoor material and equipment storage areas Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials in the yard Keep work areas free of debris and potential safety hazards Help organize materials, equipment, and supplies stored outdoors Perform general yard and facility support as needed General Cleaning & Organization Minor janitorial responsibilities are limited to the warehouse, yard, and related work areas and may include: Sweeping warehouse floors and work areas Emptying warehouse trash and debris Keeping aisles, storage areas, and workspaces clean and organized Helping maintain a safe and orderly warehouse environment Qualifications Valid driver's license required Previous Hilo/forklift experience or certification required Previous warehouse, receiving, material handling, or general labor experience preferred Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Comfortable loading, unloading, and moving materials Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment Schedule Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM Aver Sign Company is looking for someone who takes pride in keeping a warehouse and yard organized, works well with a team, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to keep daily operations running smoothly. #J-18808-Ljbffr
