Programmer Analyst

Design, develop, create and modify computer applications software and/or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions including GUI interfaces with an exposure to various technologies/tools like PHP, Visual Studio 2012, Java, C#.Net, ASP.NET, ADO.NET Framework (WCF, WPF, LINQ), Silverlight, SQL Server, etc. Perform impact analysis, resolve design and coding errors after testing and participate in final implementation of the product/project. Must have Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems or Bachelor's degree in above-mentioned & 5 years of experience. Responsible for server builds. OS installation and patch management. Install and maintain software products as needed. Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, OS, system sofiware, network, SAN, NAS etc. Automate repetitive tasks through shell or Perl scripting. Tunes system software for peak performance and availability. Provide 24/7 on-call application support on the UNIX/Linux systems in rotation with other team members. Must have Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems or Bachelor's degree in above-mentioned. Coordination and Management of Incident Management process with infrastructure and application teams. Supporting Major Incident Management reporting (KPIs and customer SLAs) to ensure incident quality and continual improvement. Acts as a subject matter expert for support area including Middleware, Database and Unix administration. Hands on experience with operations on Jboss, Weblogic and Tomcat application servers, including OS installation and Troubleshooting issues related to Hardware, OS, Storage. Provide training to Tier 1 via knowledge transfer and knowledge articles. Shift work 24/7 (includes weekend/holidays/on-call as needed). Provide root cause analysis and manage queues within ServiceNow, JIRA and Remedy. Design, develop & implement high performance scalable architectures & data models utilizing .Net framework (WCF, WPF, WF, LINQ), ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Silverlight, AZURE, Web services, J2EE, Visual Studio 2012. Carry system analysis, impact analysis, design & coding, defect fixing for production issues & code review for.NET applications. Formulate & analyze software requirements. Perform system validation, business & data analysis of client operations, application development, quality testing & implementation of query expressions & expression trees. Must have Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems or Bachelor's degree in above-mentioned & 5 years of experience. Design test plans and excellent test case writing skills. Experienced in using automated testing tools like QTP, Selenium and developing the test scripts for the same and also using the test management tools like Quality Center. An exposure to different environments including Oracle, .Net, SAP, Java, PL/SQL & exp w/ SQL, Neteeza, AutoSys, Toad, ClearCase, PVCS, C++, ETL (Informatica, Datastage).
