Senior Accounting Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Consultant to support a nonprofit organization with day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, hands-on Sage experience, and advanced Excel skills. Key Responsibilities: Manage general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries Support month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports Review accounts for accuracy and resolve discrepancies Assist with budgeting, reporting, and other accounting projects as needed Ensure compliance with GAAP and established accounting procedures Qualifications: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP Sage experience required Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Nonprofit accounting experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Ascendo Resources
