If you have great people and collaboration skills, love managing teams of desktop support professionals, and have experience with vendor management, Genesis could be a great career move for you.Job DescriptionAs our Help Desk Manager, you will:Manage and oversee our IT Help Desk, including the supervision of staff, procurement and deployment of equipment, and vendor managementCollaborate with our help desk, networking, and systems teams on a variety of projects and issue resolutionProvide training and direction to our team of four desktop and helpdesk support professionalsOversee the Help Desk's response to end user requests for assistance in a timely and professional mannerMaintain our inventory of corporate PC's, laptops, printers, and devicesTroubleshoot and resolve a wide variety of hardware and software issuesRecommend purchase decisions related to hardware and softwareProvide executive support for remote and traveling employees with PC, laptop, and connectivity issuesOversee set up of new employee workstations including PC or laptop, phone, and account informationQualificationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related degree OR equivalent industry experience5+ years' experience working as a Help Desk Technician in a Windows Networking environmentAt least two years' experience managing two or more employees in a Help Desk environment (or relevant technical and customer service management experience)Excellent attention to detail and quality, strong customer service skills, and organizational abilityProven skills troubleshooting a wide variety of hardware, software, and connectivity issuesReady to make the move to a new beginning with Genesis?
