Pharmacist - Travel Job

We are hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position in Salem, MA at a hospital. You will apply clinical expertise to ensure safe and accurate medication distribution for patients across the lifespan, including newborn through geriatric populations. The role involves reviewing and interpreting medication orders, supervising pharmacy technician activities, and supporting inpatient pharmacy operations using Epic and Omnicell.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active MA Pharmacist license required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system preferred.
• Experience with Omnicell systems preferred.
• Ability to review and interpret medication orders for safety and efficacy.
• Experience overseeing pharmacy technician work, including medication dispensing and IV compounding.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional inpatient pharmacy experience beyond 2 years preferred.
• Experience in medical and behavioral health patient populations preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours include 07:00 to 17:30 and rotating days/evenings including 07:00 to 15:30 or 14:00 to 23:30.
• Position supports inpatient pharmacy operations.
• Rotating shifts required.
