Overview
MRI Technologist – MRI Tech, traveling assignment in Saratoga Springs, NY. Start date: 08/03/2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay: $2,583–$2,763 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 5x8 Evenings (1:00 PM – 9:00 PM). Setting: hospital imaging department. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. This position requires ARRT-MR certification, NY State radiologic technologist licensure (permanent license in hand prior to start), and the ability to perform CT as needed. The role emphasizes MRI imaging with potential CT responsibilities, and it may require floating within the department to support patient flow.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans according to prescribed protocols, ensuring correct patient positioning, safety, and image quality.
- Administer IV contrast for MRI as required, monitor patients during contrast administration, and maintain infection control practices.
- Acquire standard and advanced MRI sequences, adjust parameters as needed, and collaborate with radiologists on image quality and diagnostic goals.
- If CT is needed, perform CT scans within NY regulations, including IV contrast administration, while maintaining safety and documentation standards.
- Complete accurate procedure documentation in the charting system (Epic) and verify patient identity and exam details.
- Coordinate with radiology team and support staff to optimize patient flow, adaptability, and coverage within the department.

Requirements
- ARRT-MR certification
- NY State radiologic technologist license with permanent license in hand prior to start (temporary licenses not accepted)
- IV contrast/injection certification required
- Ability and/or experience to perform CT scans
- 2 years of MRI experience; travel experience preferred
- Epic charting experience required (or strong proficiency with Epic for radiology documentation)
- Must be able to work the listed schedule (Mon–Fri, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM) and operate within a hospital imaging department
