Why join us Competitive hourly pay $27-$46+ with shift differentials and potential for premium pay Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) match Generous PTO and paid time off for work-life balance Professional development, clinical ladder programs, and educational opportunities Inclusive, mission-driven team culture with a focus on dignity, integrity, and compassion Stable, faith-based nonprofit healthcare environment serving local communities Job Details / Responsibilities Provide independent, competent nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) Deliver routine and complex care for patients with urgent and emergent conditions, managing contingencies effectively Administer medications, treatments, and monitor for effectiveness and side effects per protocols Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, stabilization, and documentation of history, symptoms, and care Address complex physical, psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated emergency care and patient education Meet OneCHRISTUS Competencies as Leader of Self, Others, or Leaders while ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes Support multiple shifts and respond to high-acuity situations with strong critical thinking Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas (or compact state) Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency, acute care, or related nursing specialty preferred Current BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required (with grace periods for new hires) Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills in high-pressure environments Ability to work full-time with multiple shifts available, including days/nights/weekends/holidays Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
