Base Pay $25.00 - $30.00 / Hour Employee Type FT Exempt Required Degree High school Manage Others No Contact information Name Human Resources Phone View phone number on click.appcast.io Description Greet and register patients in a professional and courteous manner Accurately collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and obtain required authorizations Obtain necessary documentation and patient signatures Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances Maintain accurate and complete patient records within the electronic system Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies Communicate effectively with clinical staff and other departments Answer and direct incoming calls through the PBX/switchboard system Transfer calls to appropriate departments and provide general information to callers Respond to emergency codes and overhead paging as required Assist in resolving patient inquiries related to registration or billing Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology preferred Strong computer and data entry skills Ability to operate a multi0lin phone system Excellent communications and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organization skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Alhambra Hospital Medical Center
